decided in 2020 that I will buy gear produced in USA,Canada, Europe and Japan.
any recommendations? especially for trucks and shoes

Wait, are they actually produced in Japan? I know of Possessed, but assumed they were still made in China given that their price points aren't crazy. They are like $95-$110. For reference, that crazy Vans collector Pillowheat did a Vans Chukka rip off with a Japanese brand called SOLS, made in Japan, and it retailed for $210.

New Destructo squadron models are USA made. D1/D2 are china but very high quality. Honestly I don't really see a point to seeking out USA made stuff anymore unless you're doing simply out of principle, the general quality of chinese trucks from the bigger brands seems on par or even better than US made ones in my opinion. My 149 Chindys feel better and have less casting flaws than my older ones, plus the bushings are significantly improved.

I’m doing the same for years with clothing and it just feels right to buy something made by people who have lunch breaks. and then I buy iPad......
