in the end the nottie will have a makeover and be made gorgeous and will get the boy of her dreams, who will then tell her that he liked her even when she was ugly, and the hottie will look like an idiot. it's all too obvious.

One terribly hungover day, I couldn't move, and the tele was stuck on TBS. I felt like I did coke all night, but I think it was just a lot of free Redbull vodka.

TBS had Gigli on all afternoon, and I had to lay there and endure it. The remote was too far away from the couch, and my cat wouldn't retrieve it no matter how much I shouted at him. Surviving watching that movie and coming out of the hangover of death was like reliving the part in Trainspotting where the guy finishes withdrawal after the baby's head turns backwards.


Watching Gigli is just one of those things you have to watch in full just once. Like trying a bad food, but eating the whole meal. Or kissing the fat girl, but totally fucking her all night. Or looking into Alexactly's eyes, and then totally rubbing his naked body in flannel.

I would definately recommend seeing it; 'tis one of the better movies of recent IMO. Just don't expect it to be like the book...

We're going to see it tonight...and I have the book reserved for me at the library cause it was checked out and I'm way too cheap to go buy it. Good thing I haven't read it first; I hate when movies don't live up to expectations. I'll read the book after watching the movie.
