The crazy thing about the accusations is that Theotis is such a good kid, and his mom comes off as such a sweet lady. He obviously grew up in a rough part of a rough city, which makes the job of a parent a million times harder, add to that the fact that I didn't see any interview with dad, and that lady is a miracle worker. Theotis sells the most boards on Baker, and Andrew says its because he interacts with the fans and people genuinely like him, which seems to be a huge part of what got him to where he is in the first place. Mom taught him right, and its paying off, the only thing that lady deserves is our respect. Who knows though, maybe some of the comments are coming from people who have seen the rougher side of family life and are coming from a place of universal distrust. Either way, I think all the negative comments are way out of line.

Theotis is known for having the songs in his part edited so its more "parent-friendly" for kids to watch so I'd imagine he might've had the same thing down for this episode.

God, Theotis is super nice. People knock his style, but I enjoy his skating. His style is fine, plus you can tell he just genuinely loves the shit out of skateboarding. He's always progressing, and every part he puts out is better than the last one. That's sick to see. I'm glad he's selling the most boards at Baker, if they press one on an 8.38 or 8.5 I might have to grab one.

I've actually met Theotis for a hot sec at the Oakland Deathwish demo. Dude is a nice guy and he literally signed everyones deck. And even Beagle is a super nice guy as well. I said what's up and just gave him a dap and he literally said "nah man" and proceeded to teach me the double clap dap that they all do.
