Damn it’s a melancholy listen, you can tell he’s struggling with substances, bartering one for another. Like he’s drinking again, but just wine, and champagne. He doesn’t eat meat but fish and he rarely chicken. He stopped smoking weed but still asking if he can smoke cigarettes in the studio. He’s a conflicted man, you can tell especially by the music choices, no thing on me by Curtis mayfield, a few Gil Scott heron’s. It’s fun to Rag on Dill for how his persona and ego have infamously evolved but I genuinely hope this man can find peace.

100%, for all the Bullshit and ego tripping he genuinely has contributed so much to skating, I think he’s clearly wrestling with a lot of demons. If I could give him a hug, I would.

I like Dill a little more after this interview and hearing he likes to read a book from every country he visits. He did sound a tad patronizing when talking about his music, like he was bestowing this gift of Western pop culture upon the Koreans. Korea is already occupied by the American military. It can't really be any more influenced by the West than it already is without no longer being Korea. But overall he seems like he's fairly level headed; he just doesn't know that much about Korean history.

Is obtaining a liquor license easier/not a thing in Korea?  Seems weird to put this not in NY or LA or anywhere without a supreme on the same street.
