Only buying sale shit from online retailers is kook behavior. Only buying sale shit from your shop is also lame as fuck. Support your shop at full price so they actually get a beneficial margin.

Ill pay full price when they stop charging me for grip
“If you can’t handle me at my full price retail with no free grip, then you don’t deserve me at the Black Friday Sale with still no free grip.”

I've been grabbing the crail $80 sale for a while now. 2 boards for $80? Cant pass that up. Also $100 for 2 boards and 2 shirts? Come on. It's out of season but who fuckin cares.
We rode 7.5's" and didn't complain.

Usually I hunt around and get a 8.6 or 8.75 on offer from a Generator press.  Last one was £35 including grip.

But this time I might try a 8.6 Clutch deck for £29.95, or wait until end of the season.    Currently I've got a Yardsale, which i got for £40 about a year ago.

I pay full retail price for name brand decks at the local skater owned skate shop, I'm in a comfortable place financially and decks last me like 3 months so it's not that bad in the long run.

I typically pay retail, but also won't buy the most expensive brands.  Many good brands still at 60 something bucks retail.  Maybe I would if I liked the more expensive brands enough.

Fred Gall is the patron saint of Slap. Puleo is the pope but sometimes reduced to cardinal depending on his recent IG activity.

How am I suppose to support my local, when skate shops across the country are tempting me with targeted ads to buy their boards at half price?
