It was rumored they were going to sue Shane when he tried to leave DC. You don't pay for a full legal staff then let people walk away from contracts. I doubt Lakai has anything more than a lawyer on retainer, who might be more for corporate trademarks than litigation. Plus Carrol said he might sue.

Plus with Lakai now having outside investors, do you really think that if MJ was legally in the wrong they wouldn't sue to protect their investment. They wouldn't eat the cost on all that dead product if they had a leg to stand on unless they feared Marc (aka Adidas) legal team or they knew they didn't have a leg to stand on. A VC group isn't going to not sue, because its against the code of skateboarding.
