laramie, wy. great place to drink, bad placee to skate.
nehawka, nebraska. one 3 set in town and a 3 foot manny pad.
elgin, south carolina. i skated a place that was under construction. it's prolly built now so, cancel christmas.

This.  If we are saying larger cities only, then I'd say Charleston SC or Savannah GA.  Too old too hot too flat.

West palm beach tons of rad things to get down on in the downtown area same as Ft Laudy now here's where it gets shitty tons of suburbs and underdeveloped streets with shitty pee gravel that chunks your wheels up. I wouldn't mind skating flatground if the concrete was smooth. oh and the constant traffic of goons flying down suburb streets, Late night roof tacs work great at puncturing tires. Costal towns in Oregon Coos bay, Astoria, Florida Lantana sucks ass. Georgia northwest towards chattanooga garbage Anywhere rural Alabama, If your in the south yes the cities are a seascape of stairs handrails and gaps galore however the suburbs you need an inside man to find the rad spots. I find that when breaking the rules and actually street skating the plazas in wealthy areas if you are behind a place and not a dick you shouldn't get fucked with however sometimes you have to run and gun it. which is fine just be safe and don't expect too much. AZ,NM,CO,TX all rad places with tons of ditches and stuff to rip however winter time floods and monsoons so get it while it is good. I find that skateboarding has become segregated from alot of it's initial idea of street skating. That's why I like the idea of using your noodle building stuff to skate as 1 you aren't kicked out of spots 2 you learn something about yourself  3 it's fun building something that is yours and the homies rip on.

Skating's basically what you make of it.  Not everywhere is going to be SF or Barcelona.  I went to college in the south and had some waxed up parking blocks behind a medical office and one decent parking garage with some ledges.

I lived in CO and we went to Laramie on a "skate trip", and can confirm.  didn't really have any street spots, but in all honesty, I kinda liked the little park they have there.  There was also some cowboy festival going on downtown and you could just walk around drinking beers and there was bands and all kinds of shit.  I rode a mechanical bull.
