Honest question, do brazilians, especially the older ones, take skating much more seriously than most? Quite a few people in this have looked like they're maybe trying a bit too hard.

you could look at it as putting someone out of their misery that clearly wasn't a competitor at the time.

i'm saying, a backside 360 flip isn't an ugly, tasteless trick, but no reason to merk your opponent with it when you're 4 letters up on flatground.

It was no guarantee that fakie ollie fs blunt would work out for him. No matter how good you can do that trick, it's still gonna be more risky to do than a more basic trick. So I understand his choice, if he didn't land it, he would lose his turn, but he would still be in the game.

I tend to do the same when I play a game of skate and it's working out quickly in my favor. I'll try something that's hard for me to do, instead of something i can rely on, so if it's not working out the other guy gets his chance to make a comeback. But if it does work out and you land your hard-to-do trick, I guess then you're a dick?
