In the 50s.
this was when the public peeked at it and thereafter came the eventual peak of the public's interest being piqued, however the peak in question is neither of these three. we must reevaluate which peak to identify if we are going to  make this an academic exercise, back to the drawing board

isn't the real answer that this question is unanswerable, though? assuming there are still people left to ponder this question, then the possibility will always exist that it can reach a higher peak than any pre-established one that may be identified thus far throughout its history. we must take a closer peek at specifying our initial question before we proceed

Same year rap music peaked

i always thought '94 was the largely romanticized year regarding the peak of hiphop

This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

I feel like 87-91 then 94-02. I fucking hated little wheels era.

From 02-16 I was in my own world. No tricks just angrily pushing around the city bombing hills and skitching to the clinic.

I never stopped all the way because I can’t really walk very well and I’m unable to stand still

Late 90's/Early 00's for me as that's when I got into skating and from a mainstream perspective that was the XGames & THPS era.

X games ruined skateboarding. It was reason everything started to get knobbed. Anyone who started skating before this knows what I'm talking about.

I agree in ushered in the jock era that's still present to this day, depends how you define it peaking is it in terms of the culture or mainstream acceptance etc or just the best skating?

I look at it as the best time to be a skater. The pre-knob era was definitely a good time to be a street skater, and the x games brought too much attention to skating and the public started getting wise and then the knobs started appearing.

The first trip to the big city is the peak of skateboarding.
