Soft spot for these especially the white ones.

When the first Rowley’s came out I remember EVERYBODY trippin’ how slim they were.
A few years back I found a beat up old pair at a flea market and the were HUGE!

when I was a kid (96-03)....Es Koston 1 , Accel OG, Marc Johnson 2 Emerica, DC Manteca, Mike Carrol Lakai's that looked like Dunks
when I was a young adult (03-06) was only fucking with lakai around this time
since then  - SB Dunk Hi and Mids especially 06-12 when they were super cheap , and Mid Top Blazers and then GT Blazers when they came out, had been the best shoes for me
now in 2022 the best skate shoe of all time is the Tiago NB 1010

Probably not old enough to be considered the best but personally this was the most comfortable shoe I've had - skate or not. Emerica Westgate. Felt like a nice running shoe you could skate in. Are his New Balance shoes as good? Seems like everyone just skates the Tiagos...

Westgate g6 is a goat model for sure I simp for the runner toe

1010s are overrated I rolled my ankles constantly in those, 306 slips and 212s are sleeper hit NBs tho

Love me some adidas campus 1 or a lynx with a good colorway

The Kirchart 2’s were lowkey bangers.  They had such a subdued appearance for that era of shoes (especially in the all black colorway).  No airbag like the Kirchart 1 and definitely a more classic appearance compared to the Kirchart 3’s which just looked ridiculous like some type of Fallen monstrosity.  Kirchart 2’s actually looked like a shoe Kirchart would wear in real life.

Tiagos skate amazing! Everyone in my circle is skating them. Those and the new half cab pro are the most popular shoe in central Massachusetts at the moment.

ES Accels were good.  I ran a few pairs of IPath grasshoppers back in the day.  The ones with the strap.  Recently for me the Vans AVE.  Expensive but if you have a Vans outlet nearby you can get them for around $50 and they last forever.

they've been reissued a couple times now with slight changes to the original each time. when they rereleased them in 2012 or so i was super disappointed, but apparently the new rerelease is pretty good. in 12 those shoes were done after two sessions, they were also pretty uncomfy with zero support. they literally looked like trash after a week, with the nastiest sweat stains coming through the synthetic upper. this was one of the only times i actually threw a shoe away when i had backup pair with me because i was so over it. i had that og bluish-grey colorway with the red line on the foxing.

they looked great tho when they were brandnew, very pretty.
