yeah, i have been a longtime fan of harmony korine overall but this whole endeavor seems really dumb.

first of all, the whole 'no vowels' thing hasn't been trendy for at least 15 years.

second of all, the term 'edgelord' is generally associated with 4chan gamer nerd type shit. maybe that's good if you want to appeal to terminally online culture-war shitposters, but they probably buy like one skateboard per lifetime and don't give two fucks if you sponsor swan pablo

so in conclusion the whole thing seems just out-of-touch enough that i actually have no trouble believing that jared kushner's nerdy ass is involved

I get that it rose in the early 2010s probably in response to the hucking of the early 2000s and the ledge dancing of the fully flared era, but good fucking riddance. Streetwear and hypebeast bullshit can get fucked.

I think Gummo is sick and am reserving just one ounce of hope that something cool comes out of this project because I really like seeing Vincent and Elijah skate but I’ve definitely been hoping for what you’re suggesting as well. That Zero video this week wasn’t exactly groundbreaking but felt like a precursor or ushering of another much needed skateboarding renaissance.
