I don't like it when they film like that. Doesnt make any sense to me

probably to save electricity to save money, one person skating one obstacle doesnt require the whole place to be lit up and wasting electricity/money.

i think it's new. he sure as hell didn't use to talk like that when he lived around boston. i couldn't tell if he was doing that accent to g-out the text messages or if he really talks like that now.

makes sense. i thought it was because either they wanted you to focus only on the obstacle that the skater is skating, or it was because berra and a few others skated the old part in his skatemore part and he's used to turning off the lights and lighting up individual parts so it looks more like a street spot.

The real reason it's done is to frame the tricks. It's just a way to be a little artsy without ruining the trick and I think it looks good.
