that was a complete bitch move and there is no justifying it. spencer could be 5 feet and weigh 90 pounds, it's still a bitch move. i was skating pier 7 around 2001-02 at like 10 oclock and spencer was there skating by himself, just killing it. i had so much respect for him at the time. now, not so much. the sound of the board hitting darren's head makes me feel gross. a skater should never do that to a fellow skater

sometimes you swing without thinking.  i don't think spencer was thinking, i think he was reacting.  i'm making this assumption because hes never given off some tough guy gangsta vibe, he always been a super nice guy to everyone.        

i was in a similar situation with a parking attendant a few years back.  we were arguing and for whatever reason, the dude decided to kick my ass.  like literally kick me in the ass and without any hesitation, i swung my board at him dumb hard and cut his arm open.  i was with another friend of mine and we were about to go to batting practice on his dome.  he was lucky that one of the guys he worked with grabbed him and got in between us otherwise who knows what would've happened?
      
anyway, none of that should excuse his actions but one things for sure, hes got his homies backs.
as far as the cops getting him, unless harper files a police report and presses charges, the cops aren't doing jack shit.
