With the logo clearly scratched out.

He should hurry and scuff up the gradient/rest of it

I've seen one. This dude who looks like crash bandicoot that dropped ~40lbs in one year randomly (drugs probably) was skating one and hated it.

Does anyone know if the Guy shape is similar to how his Girl shape was?
At least when you're a washed-out hipster douchebag in NY, you can milk it at some decent looking, hard to skate spots. In LA you're just a tan-lined faggot in a school yard somewhere.

The shop here got them in a few weeks ago. Decent shapes, but nothing I'd personally want.

I'd really like to see a photo of a person who looks like Crash Bandicoot.

Yeah this is the most important subject in the thread right now.

2017 Sober Guy and 2017 Koston are bland as can be, personality wise. Koston straying into kook territory. On World/Early Crail they could blend in with a roster of dudes with more colorful personalities and diverse backgrounds. Now they are straight up boring adults. And after wartching his cringeworthy Push part, Miles Silver is just as bland. All the kid cared about was getting sponsored, and trying to show up people. He personifies the new skater as athlete phenomenon that the athletic sneaker companies seem to promote. Technically the kid is amazingly but it does lack some flavor. Part of this may be the editing of some of these parts. His last Lakai part had a great song, and was edited well. While the Push, and first Numbers part were forgettable.

The best teams are organic, and have kids on the come up. FA had known entities, but they were fresh because of the kids. Kids that really do their first serious stuff with the brand. Numbers just looks like high paid free agents on a pro sports team.

I don't know if this has been covered. Supposedly only a handful of U.K. Shops were "picked" to be allowed to stock their boards.

It wasn't the proportions. Dude was rail thin but his face looked strikingly similar to Crash Bandicoot's.

I'm aware of how insane this sounds.

It is fairly similar but with a slightly longer wheelbase - 14.18.

Maybe you can DM them and see if they'll pick up your local zumiez as a very rare distributor.

It's funny, because this is very similar to how Nike entered the marketplace. Avoided the chains, used limited releases, used collaborations and tried to associate with well-established local stores.

The issue here is, Nike already had a massive consumer base of sneakerheads who would provide these local stores with business even if they didn't skate. Based on what I've seen of numbers and deck sales in general, this approach will not work. Yes, people will collect rare series such as the Alien Warhol collection to hang up, but numbers is not going to bring a large batch of new clientele to these stores. People lined up for blocks for some of the SB releases, that ain't happening for any deck release.

This wasn't the point I was making. There are 40 plus core skater owned stores in the U.K. Of those about ten or less were picked.
